#8 Mountain Climbing Adventure

What does the word adventure mean to you? Is it all about going outing? Is it fun? Is it interesting? Is it safe? Is it worth to remember? Is it more about hiking? Do we need to be well dressed? For me, it is all about traveling, strolling, biking, roaming around, going to somewhere and have some fun --picture taking, capturing videos, screaming, eating, movie marathon, laughing vigorously, non stop parlor games and exchanging of token and etc. I can recall in my high school life, we the "troopa" decided to go or spend some get together when our class will nearly ended. This outing is going to be great! through this we made a strategic plan we consider the place if it is safe and we finally found out that this place is safe when one of my classmate got there, we consider this as interesting because it is mountain climbing and the more will join the more we have a lot of fun and enjoyment. This outing never requires or needs a well dressed its just that pair of slippers, shorts and t-shirts will simply  do so. One of my classmate volunteer to bring a camera for us to have a documentation and to capture our smiles and laughs together in short for us to remember the outing that brings our life so much enjoyment. This bonding is what we've waiting for! As day passed by the date will be getting nearer and nearer and we arranged and prepared some games/activities for us to have when we get there. This is it! March 20 is approaching we travel from school to Luinab (resident of my classmate)| and from their to the place "bukid sa Luinab" we named it. As we hiked from my classmates' house to the ground of bukid sa Luinab we already got exhausted and our nose are openly breathing over again but that experienced never stop us to continue our journey. From the road we capture our hiking mode and everybody does peace sign with a smile of course! When we reached the ground we ask for permission to the house nearby the mountain in climbing up to it and they allow us that made us jump with matching 'yehey! We climbed up, we hold onto the weeds when we hardly bear to climb because if we wont hold to the weeds we might slide and hurt somebody at our back or we offer our hand to someone who needs our help so that together we will be able to stand or climb to that elevated area. The most impressive part of climbing is that you can see the view of the surroundings you van also see the three fourth part of the earth which is the sea even though you're breathing is constantly faster than normal it is worth the tiring of climbing the mountain when you witness the beauty and nature of Iligan City. When a few of us was in the top they help others who are still climbing specially my one fat classmate because she never climb mountain because it will make her very tiring even if it is an average of distance only that decision to go with us because she knew it will be fun and a worth to remember experience also she said "love man tamu , its a deal! kuyog nako". We rest for an hour and enjoying the fresh air we got from that nature surrounding. We captured videos and pictures on us while sitting on the grass. We also noticed that there is a palay planted on the field and a carabao tied on a coconut tree. We start our games with so much excitement and also the prizes upon winning the game. We had a lot of games prepared but not all are eventually participated by everyone others are cheering their bet. The clock strikes at 5:00pm that made us speechless when we watch the glamorous sunset as what we've seen at the mountain. The adventure we've shared shape me because we spend our time full of happiness, my high school life make me complete because of my friends whom I cherish the most and I will never forget them and I won't take a risk for them to forget me even though others are separated from us we never forget that we meet from the 4years of high school until forever. ♥

#7 An Inspirational Story

"Get back up when anyone falls down"

1. What is the main message of the video?

 As I watch the video I can predict that the message is all about Life - that we must not stop trying because if we fail once it doesn't mean we also stop trying. The man quoted "Get back up when anyone falls down" this quote really mean to me, in our life there are circumstances that we will fall at the same time we will discourage or depressed if something happen that we never expected but this man having a strong perseverance and confidence even though he had no arms and feet but he will stand up in life and serve as an inspiration to others who also have a complete body parts.

2. Are you inspired by it? Why or why not?

Yes of course I am so inspired because that man serves as a model to us specially we have a complete body parts which we can use it freely. I can say that because that man is incomplete yet he still live his life like a complete one, he will stand up even though he falls down just like life..we will not stop trying until we wont get what really destined for us, we will stand up for what is right. He once said “If I fail, I try again, and again, and again its not yet the end. If YOU fail, are you going to try again? The human spirit can handle much worse than we realize. It matters HOW you are going to FINISH. Are you going to finish strong?” 

3. How can you become an inspiration for others too?

 As an individual we serve as inspiration for others in our own little way. I as a youth I can become an inspiration by enhancing my talent or skills also attending fellowship and what I learned must shared to others for them to know more about the Scriptures and God. In addition,I will develop being me or to give value in myself to be a good model specially to my younger sisters so that they will be inspired also. My friends got inspired because I give advice to them when they have problems or misunderstandings. I serve as an inspiration by being me-honor God and help others as much as I can.

Presently, the word discipline involves teaching (not punishment). A training to act with accordance with the rules or by way of correction and behavior. An exercise that develops or improves a skill. At this point, it is training by instruction and exercise.

 

#5 HERO. HERO. HERO.

Everybody has its own interpretation and meaning about "Hero" because of that there are certain reasons why they considered as heroes. As I evaluate it I can say that a hero is not about having a super powers, a flying acts or a costume-like supermen or batman it is about having a character implanted inside us that will mold him/her to do good to oneself and to the other people. He/she will not make any harm to the others. It is wonderful to know that a person who doesn't take you or value you as family treat you more than anything else. Allow me to introduce, Myla K. Bado as my hero. She is the one. She is 38 years of age. She finished a course which is Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in H.E.L.E at Iligan Capitol College Batch 2000-2001. She teaches children good manners eventhough it is not her relatives. She merely consider her nephew and niece as her own children. She is known to everyone as "dada". When she give what she had she will never expect something in return. She is contented of her life. She  gives advises to us and to other people. I love this woman so much ♥

#4 Dead but silently communicating the living

   It is hard to accept that when our loved ones passed away they will never return and be as close as they used to but their memories never left in our hearts. Seems like they are always around because of the memories and the presence they made for us to remember them also, that is the way they communicate us - the living.
   In my experience, my Uncle communicate me in my dreams. It is ironic because I only knew his name and not his life story because we often meet to each other and talk about serious matters I was 12 years old that time and I first know his name was at the funeral homes already. It feels strange because I encounter bad dreams I never expected that made me wake up immediately and trying to figure out what my uncle really wants for me. I shared that to my grandmother who knows the story of my Uncle and she advices me to have a prayer for my Uncle's soul and when we visit at the cemetery we offer him a prayer and lighted the candle for him. After that, my Uncle never appear in my dreams anymore and I can say that prayer is effective that letting us meditate esp. to Our Creator. That's all I can share in this blog..thanks for reading! ♥

#3 I stop to say thank you mama and papa

I think that people value family these days is by talking to their dearest children especially when they are growing up,finish a course degree, when they got a stable job after a graduation. I will show my value to my parents 10 years from now by being with them where in spending time is the most precious I can give, enjoying the days knowing that how much thankful I am to have them, to let them experience relaxation or to have a worry-free surrounding because it is not easy to take good care of a child and the sacrifices they face just to send us in school and of what they done for us to be a better person. I usually say to my mama and papa " salamat ma ha? or salamat pa ha? " with matching hug and smiley face. ♥

#2 Evaluate yourself as a reader and writer. Can you consider yourself as a good reader and writer? Why or why not?

Every student knows how to read and write. If you can write, you can read and if you can read, you will learn and if you will learn, you will earn. In my college life, I realized the importance of writing, reading, and thinking skills. As I evaluate myself, I consider myself a good reader and writer because for me reading a lot means improving my imagination same as broading my sense of humor. Reading a lot especially novels, magazines, comics, newspaper and pocketbooks makes me feel that there is more about our lives. Reading is also a part for me to have a broad knowledge background to improve my writing skills especially note-taking or making an essay etc. For me, reading and writing are like conjoin twins because I can't write any article without reading any information behind it or I can't read any book if I don't know how to understand the words written on the material I read. I hope in this stage of my life, I will set that writing, reading, and thinking skills are the building blocks for me to be a successful one. ♥
